In the fourth issue of CMHC's Better Buildings case studies, they take a look at the retrofit of exterior walls of the Bashaw Valley Lodge. The lodge is a 38 unit, one storey wood frame structure in Bashaw, Alberta.
A key concern for the owners and residents was to restrict disruption to the occupants... The contractor had to manage his resources so that window replacement and door retrofits to allowed the residents to occupy their suites by evening.
